Children Of America Childcare Centers Surpasses Year End Goals

We’re excited to share news of our incredible success with you this year:

Children of America, a subsidiary of World Wide Child Care Corp. (Pink Sheets: WWCC), will exceed projected goals this year reporting increased revenue of 46 percent to higher than $17 million.  The company successfully opened 7 new childcare centers in the following locations:  Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and, most recently, at 1600 Ridge Pike in Trappe, Pa.

Children of America is well-positioned in the current economic climate with continued steady growth throughout the year and into next as we continue to sign and execute new leases.

On target to become a nationwide, parent-recommended childcare service provider in the next three years, Children of America is dedicated to the educational value it provides all of its students and continues to focus on earning accreditation from the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  In addition, the childcare service provider continually reviews and updates its proprietary key-age curriculum to ensure that all children, infants to 12-year-olds, have the best opportunity for developmental growth and learning.

Children of America anticipates opening three additional locations in East Brunswick, N.J., Oakhurst, N.J. and Sterling, Va. in early January 2009.  With the addition of these new locations, Children of America will be more than 1/3 of the way to its goal of becoming a national, 75-unit family of childcare centers in the next three years.

Children Of America, Inc. Opens New Childcare Centers In NY and Maryland

World Wide Childcare (WWCC) subsidiary Children of America recently opened childcare centers in New York State at 265 N. Highland Ave. in Nyack and in Maryland at 1131 Route 3 N., No. B-E in Gambrills, marking the company’s 1st locations in both states. With these new openings, Children of America now has 22 childcare centers in 6 states.

“We developed an fast-paced plan to open a number of childcare centers in new markets this year and are making massive progress,” says Children of America Executive Vice President and COO Jim Perretty. “The new locations in New York and Maryland establish our presence in six states and we anticipate continued expansion there and throughout the northeast.”

Children of America childcare centers have ultra-modern security systems. Each location utilizes additional safeguarding measures such as assigning each child a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that signals a child’s arrival and departure via an Internet access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com which allows parents to check-in on their children throughout the day via streaming video in classrooms and play areas.

A favorite among parents for well-developed key age group curriculum and attentive teachers, Children of America enrolls kids from 6 weeks to 12 years old. All centers offer safe and creative environments designed to encourage cerebral growth and promote development.

“With each successful opening we draw closer to our goal of becoming a well-recognized 75-unit national childcare provider,” adds Pryor.

Children Of America’s Nationwide Expansion Plan Unfolds With Sicklerville Childcare Center Opening

The following is a press release for Children Of America’s recent expansion I would like to share with you:

Children of America, a subsidiary of World Wide Child Care Corp. (Pink Sheets: WWCC), continues to take significant steps in its strategic growth initiatives with 18 childcare center locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia, including its most recent opening in Sicklerville, N.J., the second of several locations slated to open in New Jersey.

Following a clearly defined strategy for sustained growth, Children of America plans to open eight additional childcare centers including the first of many in Delaware, Maryland and New York by the end of the year. These centers will bring Children of America one step closer to creating a nationwide, 75-unit family of childcare centers in the next three years.

“We are following a well-defined expansion plan that will help us to become a nationally recognized childcare service provider,” said Thad Pryor, Children of America president and CEO. “As we seek out the very best, safest locations for our new centers, we also maintain our commitment to our family of children and parents at our established centers by providing attentive caregivers, specially designed curriculums and fun, stimulating environments.”

As Children of America moves forward with its expansion, it has also begun taking measures to earn accreditation and enhance the educational value provided by all of its childcare centers by actively implementing the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). To date, 16 of Children of America’s center directors have completed the company’s Principal Certification Program to receive their certification and earn the title as center Principal, while many assistant center directors are nearing their program completion date.

“Our success as a leading childcare provider comes from the enduring devotion of our center directors and assistant directors as they earn the trust of our students and their parents,” said Jim Perretty, Children of America vice president and COO.

Protecting your child

Children of America childcare centers are created with the safety of children in mind and provide parents extra assurance by taking advantage of numerous safeguarding techniques and gearing all centers with high-end security systems. Building access is tracked by a Personal Identification Number (PIN), a distinct code to each parent that notifies them of each child’s arrival or departure.

Additionally, beyond the center’s borders, parents are a simple click away from their kids. By logging-on to Children of America’s Web access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com, parents can view their child’s daily activities via streaming video on the Web.

Targeted age-group curriculum

Children of America’s one of a kind play-oriented programs build self-esteem, personal confidence and the self-help skills vital for children’s social interactions while concurrently laying the groundwork for reading, writing and critical thinking. Children are encouraged to discover and learn at their own pace and are inspired to feel good about themselves and their accomplishments.

Developed by Dr. Vicki Folds, one of the nation’s top child development experts with more than 35 years of hands-on and research experience and multiple published childcare books, the curriculum fosters young minds through a myriad of tools including Tray Tasking, a cutting-edge activity which develops a child’s hand, eye and body movements and is proven to promote early reading and writing skills. Other disctinctive educational activities offered include Baby Signs, Spanish language lessons, Journeys into Early Music and Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS).
